Three major Airports serve the city with most of the major carriers flying routes. The public transportation system is a great way to get around during a visit with a major Subway and Bus systems that offer reliable and safe travel. There are four seasons. The hottest month is July, average temp is about 84 degrees, although the humidity can be high and make it uncomfortable. In December the average temp is about 32 degrees and snowstorms not uncommon so be prepared during the winter if you visit.

Despite it’s reputation it is one of the safest large cities in the country. Use common sense when moving around just like you would in any other large city, be aware of your surroundings and use good judgment.
